Are you aware of any clinical labs that do the C14 urea breath test (UBT) around Dallas, Texas, USA?

I inquired with Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, and Clinical Pathology Labs, and all three said they only offered the C13 UBT, which is apparently less accurate.

My gastroenterologist seems to prefer C13 because it's non-radioactive, but I want to make sure I'm not missing something regarding sensitivity.

both C13 or C14 are accurate. They are both based on the same principle, just different isotopes.

However, the accuracy can be affected if your breath is not collected correctly.
