How to prepare for stool test?

Hi, my dr. no longer does the breath test. She has ordered a stool test for me instead.
She did not say anything to me about stopping any medications prior to completing and returning the stool test- I am on buspar, zyrtec and carafate.
Would any of those medications interfere with the results? How long should I stop them? I see a link in the forums for a guide to testing but the link no longer works

I have been in a similar situation. Doctors usually give clear instructions about stopping medications before the test. If you are worried, try calling back to ask if you need to stop any medications!
