About antibiotics usage?

I was diagnosed with H.pylori postive and antral gastristis a month back. doctor suggested me to take sompraz Hp kit which had esmoprazole, amoxyilin, clarimithocylin. i've took this medicine for 15 days (morning and evening). but i had mild symptoms (heart burn) while taking these medicines. After 15 days i consulted my doctor and he told me to stop that medicines. and he suggested me to take nexpro RD for 15 days. After stopping antibiotics i feel much better but at times i've used to have mild burning sensation in stomach. My question is do antibiotics take some time to react or should i take antibiotics again.? and why the burning sensation had shifted to stomach from heart?

you are probably experiencing the side effects of the antibiotics. Normally these side effects go away quickly after you stopped them. You have completed 15 days treatment so your bug should be taken care of. Nevertheless, I suggest you to do a breath test 1 month after you completed all your treatment (including the 15 days nexpro RD) to check if H. pylori is truly eradicated.

would taking non-veg(except beef) food will cause H.pylori to reoccur ?

The food has nothing to do with H.pylori. You just need to do a new test to confirm eradication Also it will take some time for your stomach to recover after eradication.

I'm Fitore from Kosovo, and I just have been diagnosed with H bacteri 4.9, my doctor recommended amoksillav. pentoprazole and klaritromicin morning and night, but now Im very tired all the time. Can you tell me the other side effects because Im very confuse now, even to be concentrated is very hard and I forget things, I never did that before

everyone experience differently to the antibiotics. However, the common side effects include headache, nausea, dirrhea, metalic taste in mouth, darker stool color, etc.

I must remind you that if your side effect is not too severe, it is important to complete your treatment to avoid resistance. or else, you'll need to take even stronger antibiotics with stronger side effects later on.

i recommend you to think positive. try not to think so much about the side effects. you'll be fine.

Thanks for this answer, I really hope that H bacter and those side effects will be gone soon,
But what have to do after this treatment my doctor told take this medication and everything will be fine but he never told what I have to do after, in meantime I started a strict diet no coffee, no tabac, nothing what could irritate H bacter .

There is no recommended diet for H. pylori treatment. However, you probably should avoid alcohol if you are taking metronidazole. avoid milk and sun light if you are taking tetracycline.

doctor told me to take antibiotics for 15 days. But due to fear i took it for 17 days. will they cause resistance?

literature says there is no significant difference between 10 and 14 days. so, if it is resistant, it is not because you took more days of antibiotics. nevertheless, do remember to do a followup breath test one month later.
