Abdominal discomfort / H Pylori

Hi All,
I was suffering from indigestion and abdominal discomfort since two months. I started with omeloprazel (20mg x 2 )for 3 week and still continuing
pantoprazole (20mg x2 )for 5 week. Doctor told its h.pylori. on 6th week I went for endoscopy and it was okay. No h pylori or significant GERD affect.

Now the abdominal discomfort gone but I feel uneasy or dull pain in the left chrst near the left pecotroil muscle. I am now taking magnesium
For a week but don't have any clue on this chest discomfort. It comes and goes and never sharp or painful

I am still taking pantoprazole 20mg only once and magnesium

the good news is, the endoscopy result show no ulcer or anything nasty. However, I wonder how did your doctor know you are negative of H. pylori? did you do a breath or blood test?

Thanks for your reply. Doctor( General medicine) did blood test to check H Pylori, and the Gastroenterologist check and took biopsy for H Pylori check Both came good.
Only the problem is with the discomfort (sometimes) in the left upper chest close to armpit. By the i have stopped pantoprazole for last 4 days and dont see any problem
with stomach. rather i see the problem with gas and burping/flatulence reduced a lot.

That is great news. I am glad that your condition has improved. Nevertheless, I would like to remind you that negative thoughts can build up stress that leads to burping and gas. I have seen a few cases like this. Patient's stomach absolutely clean and healthy. But everytime when they are stress (eg. work, exam, family issue, etc), they cant stop burping.
