Chest & Back Pain

Hi..So glad I found this site.. My problems started Nov.21 2012. I was at the ER every night sometimes twice for 3 to 4 weeks. Finally went to GI dr, where i was told needed my gallbladder out, had H Pylori, Inflamed Stomach and Hernia. LUCKY ME..Jan.10 2013 had Gall Bladder removed. Started the tri. what ever for the H Pylori on Wednesday Jan 30 2012. My question is did any one have chest and back pain with the H Pylori. and heart palpation.
My treatment is as follow..
Doxycycl Hyc 100 Mg every 12 hrs
Metronidazole 500mg 3 x a day
Omeprazole 20 MG 2X A DAY
Bismuth 262 mg 2 tab four times a day
This is all for 14 days

I have seen patients with chest and back pain and heart palpitation so yes it could be from HP. However other diseases are responsible for these symptoms so if they persists after eradication, you'll have to check where it comes from. Take the full treatment until the end and don't forget to do a urea breath test 3 to 4 weeks after your treatment to make sure your hp has been eradicated. Good luck and keep us posted

Feeling just awful tonight!!! Ate some grapes earlier and threw them up whole bout hour or two after eating now I have this shaking feeling and very weak. I read where I could take just the 2 antibiotics and the ppi. is that true..do i really need to take the bismuth. the antibiotics i am taking is..Doxcycline, Metronidazole and then the ppi is Prilosec, so do i really need the Bismuth.

Of course you have to take the full treatment otherwise you will decrease your chance to eradicate HP.

full treatment is the only solution for you go for it soon the condition can become more bad
