New to having H Pylori and I have questions

Hi all, I was just diagnosed with h pylori today and I have some questions.
1. Because antibodies were found in my blood, does that mean the bacteria is still active and present, or is it left over from some previous time of infection?
2. My husband and I are trying to conceive, bit now I'm worried that this illness may interfere with that. I had all the symptoms of pregnancy: nausea, vomiting, headaches, and backaches. Is it possible that the h pylori has negatively affected my fertility?

Question 1 is a good one. The answer is, H. pylori able to evade the antibodies even if you have them in your blood stream.

Question 2. H. pylori will not affect your babies. however, you should ask your doctor about the antibiotics you'll be taking to eradicate H. pylori. the treatment can be quite long. i suggest you go ahead with your pregnancy plan and get rid of the bacteria later.
