I have just read this online news item (mesotheliomacancernews.com - Cancer News). Pretty scary, is the stomach cancer rate really so high in those infected with HP?

Seventy-five percent of people infected with the H Pylori bacteria will develop stomach cancer. Other causes may be diets high in salted and pickled foods, as well as the use of tobacco products. Once present in the stomach, cancer can spread to can spread to other internal organs such as the lymph nodes and the lungs".
