BreathTest

I completed the breath test twice ...once before an endoscopy and once after. Both times it came up negative. I had h.pylori once i got a biopsy done but the breath test said nothing. I waited a month after taking the 14-day treatment, PrevPac. I still have pain in my stomach and it's been 5 months. Breath test is not very reliable. What other options do I have to see if the bacteria is still there?

Breath test can be repeated - it is cose to biopsy accuracy if done carefully. Alternatives are - stool antigen test (pickup rate about 90%) and serology (but antibodies remain high for many months after treatment).
By now I expect you have solved your problem. Remember, you had Hp since age 5 years probably, so maybe everything will not return to normal. But now that it is gone you should improve rather than deteriorate.
