My H Pylori was recently diagnosed and I have begun the antibiotic therapy. My doctor wants to retest me after the therapy. I've been instructed to submit a stool sample to the lab. I haven't seen anything on the internet about fecal testing for diagnosis. Is it a viable way to test for the presence of H Pylori?

Fecal testing is used more commonly in young children as they cannot always do a breath test easily. It is 90-95% accurate, slightly less than a careful breath test. 8-)
