Hello does H.Pylori cause an enlarged spleen? Is this common? Or is H.Pylori unrelated? thanks.

H. pylori only colonise the stomach. enlarge spleen is not a common symptom cause by H. pylori.

is there no weight to articles like these?

that is quite an old scientific article. I did a quick search and did not find any newer updates of their finding.
Their finding may be true, but because there isnt many publication on this topic, which make their claim weak.

so far, we know that H. pylori only colonises the stomach and no where else. The inflammation that H. pylori causes may travel through the blood to other organs, but the associations are still weak at the moment.
