Please I really need help

Hello everyone.

I've been for a while burping. On July 23rd I mostly had a syncope after I felt 2 spasms in my left chest , that I don't know if it's related to pylory (cardiology's sais it's ok). After that I had a lot of stress, panic attacks, and then I got better.

At the end of August I started h pylori treatment with pylera after I was diagnosed. It went well at the beginning, but I need to go to the toilet a lot of times every day and I lost 5kg+/-. The last pylera day on September 4th I was very weak and very very anxious and with dehydration signs so I went to ER. They checked everything and told me it was a gastroenteritis due antibiotics.

The weight lost also stressed me a lot, as I lost 5Kg in 10 days.

I did a endoscopy and the result was overall good but in th biopsy says I had a bit of inflammation in the mucosa.

My stomach doesn',t hurt, maybe only a bit after I eat or when I'm hungry.

The problem is that the last week I started to have spasms on the muscles, mainly in the legs but on other parts of the body too.

My anxiety raised A LOT after treatment and I'm very afraid and even can't think in other things or stay focused at work.

My life was perfect until I had that episode on July 23rd, but now it got much worst after pylera!!it looks like it killed me in many ways.

Please I will appreciate very much if someone can help me or any doctor that I can consult online because I live in Spain.

Thank you so much.

Hi,

Do you know if you still have H. pylori? if you have not done a follow up test, maybe you need to get it done.

Hello, I have a new test on October 4th. They did me a gastroscopy on September 13th and was negative on h pylori then, but I will do the a breath test on October 4th.

Could I take probiotics until the test?

I was more concerned about the muscle spasms.

Thank you so much.

the endoscopy is probably accurate enough. but it'll be good to have a second test to confirm the result.

you can take probiotics until the night before breath test.

the spasm may not be because of H. pylori. it's not a typical symptoms reported.

what about your family member that living under the same roof? have they been tested and treated?

And what about the weight loss during pylera? I was on 75,5k at the beginning of pylera treatment, at the end I was at 70kg, but I'm having issues to recover weight/muscle lost on those days after mostly 3 weeks.

Thank you so much.

The side effects of antibiotics usually wear off within a week.
Usually after eradication of H. pylori, the stomach condition and appetite would gradually improve and the patients would put on some weight.
