Doctor prescribe me triple therapy for h pylori eradication
Amoxicillin, metronidazole, and lansoprazole twice a day for 2 weeks
I want to add bismuth but in my country its hard to get it
Can i add episan (sulcrafate) to increase chance eradication?

You can take sucralfate together with the antibiotics to boost the treatment. However, bismuth has another feature that is less known, that is to prevent C. diff complication.

No. Sucralfate (Episan) mainly protects the stomach lining and does not significantly improve H. pylori eradication. It cannot replace bismuth. If used, take it at least 2 hours apart from the antibiotics to avoid reducing their absorption.

I used a different type of probiotic; last week I went for a check-up with a similar condition, and the doctor prescribed a new one.
