Hi everyone, I have some questions about your everyday hygiene during your Hpylori treatment.
Does cleaning the dishes with dish washing soap enough to kill Hpylori? Or do we need to put dishes in a dish washer machine to ensure everything is clean? After you use the toilet is regular soap enough to kill Hpylori or do we need to use something stronger? Do you eat outside in the restaurant or you only eat home cooked meal?
Also does anyone wear teeth retainers after orthodontic treatment? How do we keep the retainer clean and free from Hpylori?
I am looking forward to read your responses.

good questions! H. pylori does not survive very well outside human body. Almost anything can kill H. pylori, too dry, soap detergent, salt, chilli, garlic, ginger, etc etc... so dont worry too much about catching it from sharing food. Also, you wont find H. pylori from soil or water.

of course, if everyone under the same roof is free of H. pylori, the chance of catching it will be close to zero.
