Pause in treatment

I felt very discouraged because of side effects, after 1 week of treatment. I interrupted my treatment yesterday ( Bismuth, Metronidazole, Tetracycline and Pantoprazol). Today I feel worse and started to think about restarting after 1 day and a half pause. But I wonder if the damage is already done since I paused for more than 1 day..

Just adding to the text above, the most upsetting side effect for me is a knot in the throat that makes me feel like I can't take a satisfying breath. I still feel this even one day after stopping the medication. Anyone else felt this? My treatment was prescribed for 14 days, I interrupted after 7...

It's not a common side effect that you are experiencing. But if you feel that it's affecting your breathing, you should talk to your doctor immediately.
7 days is ok.
stopped antibiotic for 1 and a half day is fine also.
if you really cannot finish the antibiotics because of the breathing issue, it's ok. There are other alternatives. But the protocol is to wait 2-4 weeks, get another breath test done and see if you are lucky enough to get rid of HP with a 7-8 days treatment.
