Hi, I am on day 16 of my antibiotics. What should I do after I finish them to help me heal? Specifically in regards to my low stomach acid, should I start supplementing it with betiane HCL Or is it too soon?

hmmm... the treatment is usually 7, 10 or 14 days.
do you mean you have finished your antibiotics and you are now on PPI alone?

sometimes, doctors would ask patient to continue PPI for another 30 days after completing the antibiotics.

after you completed your treatment, there is nothing else for you to do. Just remember to get a follow up breath test one month after stopping all medication.
