I’ve decided to test for HP as I have awful bad breath, I floss, scrape and wash my teeth several times a day, yet my breath still smells, am I on the right track testing for HP?
Thank you

not all bad breath is because of H. pylori. Nevertheless, it's not a bad idea to have HP checked. If you are negative of H. pylori, you can go to any GP and ask for a course of metronidazole. Perhaps it is also a good idea to get a dentist to give you a proper oral check.

You can check yourself for HP but it is definitely not the first problem to check out when you have such problem.

Yes, testing for Helicobacter pylori (HP) is a good idea, as it can contribute to bad breath

Absolutely, testing for Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a wise move, especially if bad breath is persistent and other common causes (like oral hygiene issues) have been ruled out.
retro bowl H. pylori is a bacterium known to infect the stomach lining and can cause gastrointestinal issues such as ulcers, but it’s also linked to halitosis. The bad breath can result from the bacteria producing volatile sulfur compounds or from related digestive problems like reflux.
