Finally starting my Pylera treatment on Monday. I had to put off treatment due to a death in my family. I’m asking for guidance in what foods I should eat. I know not to eat dairy but I also read that fiber foods can make the antibiotics less viable. I’m a vegetarian and I wouldn’t know what to eat if I can’t eat fiber. Please help. Also if you could list what you ate it would be great .

Thank you you all very much. I’m so overwhelmed with so much going on I’m overthinking everything. Still very scared about the antibiotics side effects as I had CDiff years ago after taking antibiotics. I just need reassurance and major advice.

There is no guideline to what food to eat or avoid during antibiotic treatment, except NO alcohol and NO sunlight.

Bismuth in the Pylera combination would prevent you from C. diff.
