White blood cells

Normal white blood cell count yet active h pylori infection? Normal as is no increase or decrease in white blood cells. Why?

white blood cell is general. Everyone has to maintain certain level of white blood cell.

what you need to see is the antibody against H. pylori. After eradication of H. pylori, the antibody level should gradually reduce.

But the levels are generally supposed increase above normal if there is an infection. My question, if white cells are supposed increase when there is any infection, why do they remain normal and not increase with h pylori.

H. pylori is very interesting. It's a chronic infection. So it doesnt induce a lot of white blood cells like normal infection. When you have a flu for example, you high elevation of white blood cells and you get fever. H. pylori only infects the stomach and cause inflammation in the stomach.
