How to know if you're experiencing die-off symptoms?

Hi all,

I hope I'm posting in the right place. I was diagnosed with H Pylori and believe I have had it for around 1.5 years now. I only started off with some burping, but my symptoms have worsened over the past month with frequent burping, diarrhea, poor appetite, stomach cramps, nausea. I have an autoimmune thyroid condition, and really prefer to avoid antibiotics if possible (obviously this isn't always going to be possible). I started taking mastic gum with aloe vera, and as soon as I take it within 10-30 mins I feel incredibly tired (almost as if I am fighting a cold or flu), crampy in my stomach, weak, and start burping a lot even if I haven't eaten anything else. This generally clears up by morning, but I haven't really changed anything else which would have this effect. I have only seen people say that they have felt better since starting antibiotic/natural treatment. Is it possible that this is bacterial die-off? Or that it could be making me worse?

Thanks for your time,

M

H. pylori can only be killed off by antibiotics.

mastic gum or aloe vera or any other natural products, can only sooth the symptom. They cannot eradicate the root of the problem, which is H. pylori.

H. pylori is a very chronic infection. you can take treatment later. but it is best to get rid of it as soon as possible.
