Hi helico ... can i use amoxicillin on another antibiotic regime..or there will be a resistance.. and is it possible to use clarithromycin again after first regime failure which include clarithromycin, tinedizol and omeprazole.... this time my doctor told me to use low threshold for empirical treatment in this case with amoxycillin 1g ,clarithromycin,500mg and esomeprazole 40g... does this work or it will fail again since i heard that i should not use clarithromycin if it failed at the first regime

H. pylori will not develop resistance against Amoxicillin. So you can use it every time.
You cannot use clarithromycin again since you had it previously.
talk to your doctor about the possibility of having tetracycline, metronidazole, bismuth and PPI.

if you have not tried metronidazole before, you can use it this time.
Ask your doctor for rabeprazole 20mg TID and Amoxicillin 1g TID
TID = three times a day
