Helo everyone i have been taking amoxicillin 1g ,clarithromycin 500mg and esomeprazole 40g per day.. i was prescribed these medications for 2 weeks after i had an endoscopy done...this is my second week while taking these antibiotics and there are no changes yet..my doctor told that i had chronic gastritis...last year november i was tested for h pylori and i was prescribed with tinidazole, clarithromycin and omeprazole...i felt better after taking those antibiotics but suddenly in December these symptoms started again and my doctor told me that the bacteria might have resisted to these antibiotics ... now im worried cause there is no change yet am on my second treatment which i have mantioned above ..but there are no changes yet ...please help

I also have swallowing problems im feeling as if i have tonsils and this have been happening for about 2 months. Does this link with h pylori infection

First, you need to finish this course of antibiotics.
Then, you need to go for a follow up test to find out if the treatment work.

If you are still positive of H. pylori, in your next treatment, you must not take Clarithromycin or Metronidazole (or tinidazole) anymore.

How long should i wait to go for a follow up test after i finish this treatment
