Hi guys

Just wanted to share my hpylori story...

Initally in oct 2017 pain and burning started in my stomach for which my gp gave me gas medicine . However which didnt improved.

After 2 weeks i started getting fatigue, weakeness, blurrness etc after analyzing further by the specialist by conducting all the tests which includes cbc, chest xray hiv, typhod, kidney, liver test etc he suggested endoscopy and colonscopy. After doing the endoscopy and colonscopy which was done in jan 2018 hpylori was detected and was given ppi and pylera for 10 days. After treated for hpylori and after 2 months breathing test was also conducted and was negative. However, i am still facing weakeness, fatigue, blurrness and stomach pain and i am sleeping 20 hrs a day still feeling weakeness. After talking to the specialist again i was given vitamin b12 and vitmain b complex with calcium, vitamin d and probitoics. However i am taking these since last 1.5 months regularly somtimes i am feeling fine, normal and sometimes i am feeling still low to date and it has been 8 months now i am starting to get worried.

Will appreciate if someone can provide me guidance to the same as to what should i do next. If any further details is needed let me know please

This has been me also less time but was told I was clear of HP but months after feel just fine for day or even weeks...then back to the same feelings. And just like you I feel worried as I have been taking care of myself but still find myself feeling "I'll from time to time.

In my case the only thing that has not changed all this time is stress....this is something I want to get rid off .

Same here.... have consulted many doctors, specialist, vitamins, medicines etc but of no use... my main problem is the fatigue, weakeness and blurred vision as my work and social life has been highly affected as im sleeping 20hrs a day still feeling tired.

Did you consulted with your doctors what did they said. My doctors said it will take some time for the stomach to heal but i am surprised as its almost 6 to 7 months after successfully treated for hpylori

unfortunately some people does take longer time to heal. Have you done an endoscopy? I am pretty sure it's alright. but it'll give you a baseline of your stomach condition now. something to compare with in future.

Yes i have done endoscopy and colonscopy along with several other test and during endosocopy hpylori was detected and it was successfully treated as i did ubt and stool test after 2 months and was test negative... However my doctor told me that i would be needing vitamins especially vitmain b12 and probotics which i am taking since 1.5 months and no improvement with regards to weakeness and fatigue as i am sleeping 20 hrs a day..

Good that you had endoscopy and colonoscopy done. Also, with both breath and stool tests done that show that you are free of H. pylori, I am pretty sure you are now cleansed. All you need to do now is to focus on the recovery. Unfortunately there is no guideline how. some people feel great immediately and some dont. You'll have to try everything, including exercise, yoga, mint tea, probiotics, etc. You need to positive energy to turn the tide, otherwise you'll be just spiraling down.

I have already tried peppermint tea, probotics and vitamins b complex and b12 medicines along with calcium and vitmain d tablets as per my discussion with the doctor as he said that my stomach needs time to heal and these fatigue weakeness and blurred vision are mainly due to the deficienies in these things however i have tried these thjngs for a month now still im am nt feeling up to the mark "normal". My only worry is that if these problems were due to vitmains deificinecies by taking vitamins for a month now my health should have been normal.

Any guidance will be appreciated.
