Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and was looking to get some advice. We have no idea what to do as a family.

My mother was diagnosed with H. Pylori. She has been experiencing the following symptoms:

- Always hungry and having to eat
- Acid Reflux
- Numbness in the head
- Shaking/Nervous
- Burning in the stomach and chest

The numbness, burning sensation, nervousness always occurs when she starts to get hungry which is quite often.

She has gone through the HP-PAC (14 Days) treatment and it appeared to be getting better; However, when she finished it the symptoms have now returned.

Does anyone have any advice or experiences as to whether this is normal?

It's not helpful guessing. So your mother would need another breath/stool test to confirm the success of the treatment.

If H. pylori is indeed eradicated, then the symptom will eventually get better. If H. pylori is not eradicated, then a second treatment with different antibiotics is required.
