Made a potential stupid mistake.

Hello all. I am 25 year old male. 2.5 months ago I was at a party and introduced to e-cigs. For the next month and a half I used one daily until I started to develop some stomach pains. These pains include bloating, gas, and overall discomfort. After these symptoms started to arise I quickly relived it was the e-cig that was giving me grief. I stopped the e-cig about three weeks ago, but still having my stomach issues. This is what I am doing to hopefully heal my irritated/inflamed stomach.
1. Take 20mg of Prilosec daily. Just started this a couple of days ago.
2. Take 150mg of Zantac in the evening. I read it works better at night.
3. (2) DGL tablets 30 mins before a meal.
4. (4) Pepcin GI tablets on an empty stomach.
5. (2) Digestive enzymes with each meal.
6. Eating a very bland diet. Lots of rice, some broccoli, turkey, oatmeal with brown sugar and walnuts.
7. I only drink water now. No alcohol, coffee, or anything else.
I went to the doctor two weeks ago and honestly he was of no help. He told me I need to do an endoscopy. I have it scheduled for mid July.
I seem to be slowly improving. It seems to be the worst first thing in the morning and then sometimes after eating something. I tend to have less pain and burping if I don't eat.
Any thoughts or recommendations on things to try/do. Doing some research it seems that nicotine can cause your stomach to over produce acid. I am guessing that the increases in acid caused my stomach to become irritated leading to mild gastritis.
