I need help anyone. I’m barely on my
3rd day of antibiotics and these side affects sucks. I have bad nausea And rarely an appetite. How long
Until the side affects fade away? Also, is there anything
I can take that’ll help with nausea

I am sorry to hear what happened to you. But hang in there. the side effect usually kicks in on the 3rd day and goes away within a week after you stop the treatment.


You can try mint tea or probiotics to help with your side effect. Usually distraction is good way of "forgetting" the side effect. You can try any hobby, eg: exercise, reading, movie, etc.

I am on day 7 of triple therapy (amox, azithromycin, omeprazole). I’m still experiencing nausea, upset stomach, fatigue. The anxiety has slowed a bit. I feel like I’m forcing myself to eat as I have no appetite. I thought that by now I would be feeling better. And now today I started with diarrhea. I’m so sick of being sick. Anyone else go through this? When will it get better?.....

unfortunately we cannot tell if your H. pylori is gone until you repeat the breath test a month later.

you are probably experiencing the side effect of antibiotics at the moment.

Most importantly is to stay positive and distract yourself from thinking about it.
