Hello, can anyone explain me this biopsy result?
I'm 42 years old, and I had Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. (I don't have H.pilory)
During Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 3 Biopsies were taken from:
I Antrum
II Corpus
III Duodenum

I: 0 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 0
PH: sl inf atr act im HLO lf FH erosia
II: 3 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 0

(What means SL 3 in II. biopsy?)

I: Diagnosis: gastritis chronica atrophica abacterialis activa regions antralis ventriculi.
II: Diagnosis: gastritis chronica atrophica abacterialis inactiva regions corporis ventriculi.
III: Diagnos: duodenum sample with well keeped architecture, with signs of small nonspecific inflammation.

----------
I did endoscopy because of long term issues with stomach and colon - including heavines, sickness, pain... I also have a cascade stomach.
Colonoscopy didn't show anything abnormal. I have hemorroides (interna and externa).

Thank you!

I am not too sure what the numbers mean.

but the diagnosis basically mean you have some gastritis in your stomach, and not likely cause by bacteria. For detail explanation, you'll need to discuss with your specialist.

Anyway, it looks ok. No ulcer and No pre-cancer. You just finish antibiotic treatment?
