Hello All,

I have been treated for H Pylori in Sept 2015 and since then the H Pylori Stool test came negative on jan 20 2016.
I noticed that my ferritin has automatically increased from 50 - 60 to 320 after treatment.

Now I want to recover from my symtoms. My B12 was 600 range.

I want to take B complex shots but my gastro has completely disagreed to give me the same. Neither PCP is interested.

Does anyone has any protocol for B12 or B complex shot to recover from the damage done by H pylori.?

Or any other vitamin shots or therapies.? Still feeling fatigued.

Any suggestions or ideas.?

Thanks,

are you taking any medication? for example, PPI is known to associate with B12 deficiency.

No I am not taking any Medicine after completion of triple Antibiotic therapy on Sept 15. PPI was not prescribed.

In November 15 2015 they did the EGD and Colonoscopy. The ulcers have healed as per doctor.

I have started receiving Methylecobalamin 5000 mcg injections from a private clinic. Every Week. I see a little bit improvement.

Also my blood Type is AB+ is there any correlation for Blood type and H Pylori infection.

I feel depressed and fatigued but not as much it used to be before treatment.

Any suggestions? or views.?

Thanks,

There is no correlation between blood type and H. pylori infection.

However, studies have shown that people with B12 deficiency does return to normal after eradicating H. pylori. Perhaps you need to check with your doctor and see if you have other underlying problem.

Hi aspirant, what's Methylecobalamin 5000 mcg injections for? Is it one kind of ppi/omeprazole to stop stomach acid? I was also identified with h pilory jul-15 and after 3 times of antibiotics the h pilory gone in jan-16, but i still feel some burning symptom in my right stomach/duodenum, and my doctor ask me to do some injection in stomach.

Methylcobalamin is B12. Injection is into your muscles. not stomach.

Didn’t your doctor prescribe any substitute for B12?
