I was tested positive for H pylori two years ago. I took some antibiotics they prescribed me and then did a stool test doctor told me it was negative maybe a year later. Went to another doctor to test again and they did a breath test and told me it's positive. I'm really confused which doctor is maybe wrong. Also the doctor who tested me positive prescribed me amoxicillin, clarithromycin and lansoprazole. I took these for 9 days and ever since I stopped I started to have green bowels movements. I don't understand how as soon as I stop taking antibiotics everything seem to get worst instead of better.

The problem is that your previous doctor did not follow up the treatment with you. He should have checked if you still carried H. pylori after the first antibiotic treatment.

So, the second doctor who tested you positive again, can either be because your first treatment failed due to antibiotic resistance, or it could be because someone very close to you pass it to you.

If it's the first scenario, you should not take the same treatment you took 2 years ago as it wont work then, it wont work now.

Green bowel movements is just because of the imbalance of guts flora. give it a few days, you'll be back to normal.

If you have just finish your antibiotics, you should ask your doctor for follow up to make sure your current treatment work.
