I just wanted to share the news that triple therapy (Clarithromycin, Amoxicillin, Lanzoprazole - 3g of antibios a day) worked for me, even though I took it slightly wrong in the first of the two weeks. I feel almost back to normal now, bar a bit of constipation, and no longer feel like I'm going to choke on food because of my inflamed oesophagus. My GP surgery 'don't routinely re-test' but I'm happy with that. Wishing everyone else good health.

great news! However I still think u need a retest. It doesn't cost much and you get a definite answer.

Also, watch out people under the same roof. Make sure you don't get reinfected.
