Water brash and Weight loss

I was diagnosed with H Pylori a 10 days ago by blood test. My doctor told me nothing about the bacteria just perscribed the triple therapy (Amoxicillin, clarithromycin, omeprazole). My initial symptom was periodic nausea but now the two things that are driving me crazy are periods of water brash( non-stop salivation) and the weigh loss.

I love working out but I am concerned because I have lost 5 pounds in one month and I hate losing weight. How far will the weigh loss go and when do I know it is becoming a problem in itself. I am trying to eat a lot to compensate but that just makes the acid reflux worse.

Perhaps more annoying is the water brash. It happens every 3 or 4 days but lasts from early afternoon until I go to bed. Then I wake up dry mouth in the morning. Is there anything I can do about either of these symptoms?

Thank you!

interesting side effects. did you feel your saliva taste "metalic"? it's because the antibiotics get absorbed into your blood and flow through your saliva. So your mouth bacteria is getting wiped out as well. In situation like this, there is a chance you get candida infection in your mouth. do check with your doctor about it. Nevertheless, it is important that you finish your current antibiotics to make sure your H. pylori is completely killed. Otherwise, they'll become stronger and resistant to current antibiotics.

This condition can be caused due to side effects of medications. However you should consult your doctor for proper treatment.
