I was prescribed amoxicillin 500mg x 2 twice a day plus clarithromycin 500mg x1 twice a day and losartan 30mg X 1 twice a day. My doctor said 'so it's 3 pills morning and evening'. After 7 days of this 14-day course I suddenly realised he meant 3 pills of antibiotics (not including the losartan) so I've missed half the dose of amoxicillin. Yes I've just read the instructions from the pharmacist confirming this. Am I going to get antibiotic resistance? I've now upped the dose to what it should be and will speak to the doc later on. Thanks for any help.

what's done cannot be undone. At least it's not something terribly wrong that would do damage to your health. Just wait until your next breath test to find out if it works. You'll still have a chance that the H. pylori get killed off. Worst case scenario, you failed your treatment, you can try Amox, Metronidazole, Bismuth and PPI for your next round. Discuss the possibility of using this set of treatment when you get a positive result in your next UBT.
