I was diagnosed with H-Pylori June 5th. Was getting ready to take a trip to see my family with car already packed when I had a sudden onset of extreme right sided pain which turned into vomiting as well. Went to ER and stayed in the hospital for 5 days. After 3 days of vomiting and Flagyl IV and Cipro IV the doc decided to get the Gi doc involved. I then had a colonoscopy which was negative. So he decided to do an endoscopy which showed questionable ulcer. They did a biopsy which came back with H-Pylori. I've done alot of research, taken my 2 weeks of antibiotics eat what I should be eating and still have intense pain when I go to lay down. Indigestion type. I cant see GI doc til mid August. I dont know what to do. I am frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm glad to have found this forum.

I think it's a good news that you found H. pylori. At least we know what we are dealing with. I responded to your other post. I think you should get a follow up breath test to check if you had got rid of the H. pylori.
