Hi everyone,

I recently started a Prevpac for H Pylori. My symptoms are abdominal fullness/bloating, a burning sensation in my stomach, acidic feeling in throat, fatigue, and belching.

I started the medication yesterday and am on Day 2, the 3rd dose.

Any idea on how long into the antibiotics treatment that I'll notice a change and start to feel better? I'm just miserable right now.

I haven't even had a diagnosis, and those are the same symptoms I have right now. Best of luck.

sorry for the late reply. I have been traveling in China. So my access to internet is very "limited".

Anyway, you'll normally start feeling better on day 3 or 4. However it really depends on the severity of the damage done. If you read through this forum, you may find a few really unlucky ones that take months or years to recover. Nevertheless, I must remind you that most of the people feel better and dont bother searching internet. So this forum is bias to people who had complication in treatment.

So, I advise you to stay positive, try not to think about your stomach problems. Also try distract yourself from work. Do let us know how your treatment went.
