Treated in Japan

Recently treated in Japan with the local antibiotic called "Lansap" (or maybe "Ransap").
I finished the antibiotics three weeks ago and I feel great. Follow up test is on May 25 so fingers crossed until then.
Unexpected results:
- Itchy arse gone!!!
- Pilonidal cyst gone!!!

I haven't been able to find any link between pylori and pilonidal cysts so maybe my current relief is thanks to the good antibiotic treatment.
Has anybody else experienced similar results?
Thank you Dr. Marshall.

Hi, thank you for your story. I think your itchy and cyst problems are more likely due to some kind of bacteria infection, not H. pylori. The antibiotic treatment, that is so strong, also treated your underlying problem. I wish you all the best with your follow up test. do keep us posted with your result.

Well, I'm holding out for the less likely "the treatment solved all of my problems" option. Only re-occurrence will dull my post treatment evangelism.
Will report back promptly on May 25.

Well over a month since treatment and all looking good. Retest on May 25.
Alternative treatment for pilonidal is cut it out followed by two weeks in hospital; if I've avoided that I'm ecstatic.

OK. Test on May 25 showed I'm clear of h. pylori.
I still feel great.
No itchy bum, but unfortunately the pilonidal cyst came back so looks like antibiotics helped clear it up temporarily. Back on antibiotics now, had an MRI scan this morning to assess extent and will probably have surgery in November. As I'm clear of pylori I'll need to find myself a new forum.
