hiya all, wanting some advice please, really suffering with h pylori now, had once last year and 3 times this year, fed up of feeling sore, bloated, sick and the rest ! For the the past 8 months Ive been back forth from the doctors with one thing or another, last week i went with extremely swallon tummy, back pain, tiredness and so on, sent for bloods as doctor thought it may be gallstones or liver. I asked for another h pylori test, which today came back positive, Ive had this 4 times, and fed up of getting fobbed off, really worried, as i feel ill all the time, doctor says its stress, but cant help but feel they incorrect, i also went for an endoscopy in September as i have difficulty swallowing, but had to get them to stop as i panicked !!! Is the eradication therapy the only way to get rid of this pesky infection ???

I am afraid antibiotic is the only way to get rid of H. pylori. You probably need to discuss with an experienced specialist who will take time to go through your treatment history. It is important not to repeat any antibiotics that you had previously, except for amoxicillin and bismuth. H. pylori will never get resistance to amox and bismuth.
