My mother is in process of undergoing the third strong antibiotic treatment (4 antibiotics: Nitazoxanide (Alinia), Secnidazole, DeNol Bismuth Subcitrate, Tetracycline) and I am curious what kind of liver, kidney support Dr. Barry Marshall recommends while taking these antibiotics.
Thanks a lot.

There is no guideline what supplement to take for liver and kidney protection while having antibiotic treatment. However, you should notify your doctor immediately if you see any symptoms developed. eg. jaundice, fever, etc.

I'm also looking into testing options right now. You mentioned that the C13 test is less accurate, is that something your doctor told you, or did you find specific research on it? My gastroenterologist seems to prefer C13 because it's non-radioactive, but I want to make sure I'm not missing something regarding sensitivity.

There is no difference in the accuracy. Both C13 and C14 tests are based on the same principle.
The most important part is how the air is collected. If you take a deep breath and blow in the balloon immediately, the machine is measuring carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. You are suppose to hold the breath for as long as possible, then blow into the balloon. This way, the machine is measuring the carbon dioxide from your body.
