shooting pains in lower stomach and crotch?

I have just finished triple therapy for h.pylori and have noticed my nausea has retreated leaving me to think the bacteria had been eradicated (or at least, they had almost been). however tonight I have woken for the first time in over six weeks of having h.pylori infection with crippling, shooting pains in my stomach and what felt like my crotch area. I have read about pains in the lower abdomen, but not quite so low down.
Anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if it may be related to the fact I have taken Imodium recently for the diarrhea as I was away from home for a weekend and have not been able to go to the toilet properly, but I do not know.
I had to get in to the fetal position and take long, deep controlled breaths for five minutes and it appears to have helped, but is it odd for a symptom to only show itself after so long?
EDIT it's worth me mentioning that I started taking Mastic Gum capsules yesterday. Possibly related?

it's difficult to tell what's wrong from your symptom. If the pain persist, then you should see a doctor. If it is just one or two episodes, perhaps your stomach is adjusting itself to a bacteria free environment. Dont think Mastic Gum is related to it, but I could be wrong.
Lastly, remember to schedule a follow up breath test with your GP 3 weeks later.

I will, thanks. Hopefully the pain was as you say, a reaction to my stomach dealing with its new environment. There is a slight odd soreness to the area today, but nothing intrusive to my day to day routine. My digestive system has taken a beating the last few weeks so I suppose it IS possible that my stomach is feeling sensitive and sore.

I've felt the same pains during the first 2 months of with h.pylori ...even more once I finished the hp pac. My doc didn't think it was related but I found it odd that I never had lower abdomen or lower groin/bladder area. Did ultrasounds and urine tests all clear.
Luckly those symptoms r now gone for the last month.
I feel much better to minus the fact I got retested and tested postive again. Have almost no symptoms now. Minus chest pains that started 2 weeks after hp pac.

it could be because the HP Pac kill off most of the H. pylori and your stomach is in the mode of recovering.
the left over, small quantity of resistant H. pylori, is building up its number. However, breath test is sensitive enough to detect them.

I wonder if how you are today. I also meet some issues with my stomach and I have not got any treatment so far. I think it's maybe digestive disorders. Symptoms include bloating, diarrhea, gas, stomach pain, and stomach cramps. I hear the treatment includes a combination of medication and lifestyle changes. I do not know what the details are.

If you indeed tested positive for H. pylori, then It is true that you'll need to take a combination of antibiotics. Not so much need to change life style. It's up to how you feel and cope with the treatment.
