I just had another endoscopy to check to see if my HP is gone. My doctor said I still have inflammation in my duodenum. He has sent me for a celiac blood test which came back fine, but says it could still be celiac. Has anyone on here ever been diagnosed with celiac even though blood test came back negative? My doctor also prescribed esomeprazole for 1 month. I am so hesitant to take this medication again. I have heard that it can contribute to candida and SIBO. Is this true?

esomeprazole will only reduce your stomach acid. So it will not contribute to candida and SIBO.

Nevertheless, if the blood test showed negative of H. pylori, it's probably true. Blood test is more common for false positive because the anti-h. pylori antibody can stay in some people for months or years.
