What do h pylori feed on?

I want to take my acid blocker, eat some food that lures the h pylori out of their hiding space. And then nail them with the antibiotics. Then I want to inoculate my gut microbiome with every fermented food and good quality multi-strain probiotic that I can get into my body. The problem is that I can not for the life of me find any research that has studied what they feed on if they feed on anything. Maybe they feed on my stomach lining?I have a pretty good idea of how I ended up with an overpopulation of h pylori. Too many antibiotics. Hahaha. Wish it were a joke.

H. pylori destroy your stomach lining cells to release nutrients for themselves. They also scavenge iron, cholesterol, B12 and urea for their survival too.

on the other hand, we do measure people's bacteria load by breath test. the bacteria load has a good correlation with the urea breath test. However, the bacteria load has no correlation with the disease outcome. So, you dont need to worry too much about bacteria load.

Hope it scavenges on bad cholestrol.
So the overall cholestrol will increase once the H.pylori goes away??
Good for Iron and B12 defecienct people but bad for high chlosetrol people, because the cholestrol will increase.

This cholesterol association is actually a fairly recent observation. Although it has association, but I feel that the true mechanism of the gut's microbiome and cholesterol is not yet fully understood.

Nevertheless, these are two articles that highlights the associations between HP and cholesterol.

HDL found increased among HP eradicated group.

LDL found increased among HP infected group.

Nice. I also read that it helped the platelets in some patients successfully treated in a Japanese study.

So the list of fixes are
1) Iron deficiency
2) B12 deficiency
3) Cholestrol (high LDL and low HDL)
4) Low Platelets
