Sharing my h pylori story

So about 2 weeks ago I had a stomach ache after I would eat anything. At first every morning it was because I would eat a banana. I would go to the bathroom right after but I'd get a stomach ache directly after. Then I stopped, I was good for a day and then it was just everything I ate I would get a stomach ache so bad I would feel like crying. I went to the er last week because I just couldn't take it. After getting cat scans and blood work they said I got nothing so they made me see my doctor for further assistance. I went to see her and what she told me said it sounds like h pylori. She wanted a stool sample and I gave it to her. Then Friday I again had a tremendous amount of stomachs pain so I went to the Er again and told them that no medication is helping me. Then they did some more blood work and I told them that I have h pylori. They gave me triple therapy and now it's my 3rd day of the treatment. Throughout the day I would get small amounts of stomach pain. The first 3 nights I would get black diarrhea. And get a stomach ache again. Tonight I'm hungry but I don't want to eat more than I should only because I'll get a stomach ache. Tonight my stool was Norma (brown and semi hard) but I still get a stomach ache after. Not too much but now it feels like I'm hungry. Will I ever be the same? I feel so depressed this happened to me, I don't feel normal and at times I feel like crying. Will I ever get cured? I wanna be normal again and not have to take medications

I wanna be able to eat anything I want and not have to worry. Feedback would be nice please I'm really depressed at this point in my life.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this - I totally understand. My story is very similar. I've been dealing with horrible pain for almost a year now. Went through various tests with an 'all clear' result - so they said. I was so frustrated, so upset that I cried quite a few times. I had pain, real pain, and no one was able to tell me what it was from. About a month and a half ago, it dawned on me that I had every test done except one - that was a test to see inside my stomach. had a scope done which showed I had moderate gastritis in my stomach and duodenum along with Gerd (hello pain). Two biopsies were also taken and one confirmed h-pylori. They also noted that I have goblet cell metaplasia (pre-cancerous cells). I'm on my meds for eradicating this thing out of me.
I'm wondering, if by what your describing could be gastritis or even an ulcer (which is a symptom of h-pylori going to war inside your stomach) thus - PAIN! Till you know for sure, eat small meals, but eat as often as you need to. Make sure you're getting plenty of fiber, fruit and veggies to help you stay regular. Stay away from foods that are heavy in spice, fat, can be gassy, etc. DRINK LOTS OF WATER! Take your meds on a FULL stomach. My doctor did tell me that the meds can be brutal in treating this.

...I should add one more thing. From all I've read about HP, pain usually subsides in time once HP is eradicated. Also, I firmly believe that once symptoms of HP have surfaced, chances are very likely gastritis has set in - which is inflammation in the stomach lining. Dealing with pain of inflammation is something we have to deal with, diets may need to change to suit this issue. For me personally, I've had to cut out things that weren't good for me, I'm already noticing a good change in my pain level. There's hope.

"The first 3 nights I would get black diarrhea"
Tell your doctor about this dark black diarrhea you are seeing. You might need an endoscopy to check if you have bleeding ulcer.

It just sucks so much it hurts when I get hungry but I'm scared to eat too much or else it'll hurt. My doctors an idiot she tells me I have h pylori AFTER I go to the Er and find out there. I told her about the black diarrhea and all she said was that she'll do another stool sample after I'm done with the meds.

I would call your doctor and request an endoscope. If for any other reason; to give you peace of mind in what you're dealing with in total and move head on in the right direction.
Like I said earlier - I've dealt with this pain off and on for a year this coming June. My flare-ups were horrific, putting me out of commission for a few days at a stretch. What I found out (eventually) was that the pain seemed more intense when I was hungry and then it would subside (not go totally away) when I would eat something small. Of course, the pain would come back a couple hours later and the whole process would be repeated. Eat though, even if it's baby food, keep something in your stomach.
I agree that it could be a bleeding ulcer, you need to find out. If your doctor isn't listening to you - can you see someone else?

Totally blessed that's exactly what I have! It's like it's a huge stomach ache then it would go away. & yeah after I'm done with the meds I'll call a gastreologist and request an endoscopy. Today I saw blood in my stool. Should I be worried?

Internal bleeding can be serious. So you should see a specialist for a proper checkup.

Even though you're still on meds, call your doctor and inform him/her that you're seeing blood in your stool. Don't wait.
