Well this H Pylori infection has been ongoing for about a year now (to my knowledge) and I'd like for it to stop.

7 days
lansoprazole 30mg,two times daily
clarithromycin 500mg, two times daily
amoxicillin 1g, two times daily

14 days
lansoprazole 30mg,two times daily
clarithromycin 500mg, two times daily
amoxicillin 1g, two times daily

Now I'm doing 14 days of:
Pantoprazole 40mg, two times daily
Metronidazole 500mg, two times daily
Levofloxacin 500mg, two times daily

What are your thoughts on my current treatment? I'm only on my 4th day and while I feel some changes going on I still feel acid heartburn and bloating which makes me wonder if I'm just wasting time. I wish I had found this site sooner and I could've tried PARC...not sure what to do at this point.

You should finish your current treatment or else H. pylori may resistant to Levofloxacin.

Remember to do a followup breath test one month after your current treatment to make sure your treatment works.

I developed a bruise on my arm, not sure how. Breathing has become more difficult and earlier today I experienced a pain in my chest. I think I should stop, please help.

Please talk to your doctor who prescribe you the antibiotics. If he thinks you can continue, please do. because if you stop half way, and the bacteria gain resistance to it, only means you need a stronger antibiotics next time.

I will call him tomorrow. Can I skip a dose or two and maintain it's effectiveness?
