Does having symptoms during treatment mean the meds aren't working ?

The pain I was experiencing with h pylori was a pain on my rude side, under my ribs and acid reflux. When I started treatment those symptoms decreased but now they're starting again. Does that mean the meds aren't working ?

There is no absolute answer to your question. You may ask for double dose PPI which may reduce your pain. You'll need a followup breath test one month later to find out if your treatment works.
