Quick question from a newbie.

I was diagnosed in early January with HP via stool test and started prevpac treatment on Jan 20. Finished on February 2nd. On February 22nd I developed a UTI which was treated with 10 days of Cipro. Finishing that course on Mar 3. My question is when would be the soonest I can schedule the breath test to check for eradication. Thanks in advance and thank you for this forum!

You need to be off the medicine for 3-4 weeks before you can do the breath test.

Thanks for the quick answer. Im guessing you mean any antibiotics 3-4 weeks rather than just the prevpac.

Yes, you have to be off the antibiotics and ppi
