Hi there,

My doctor prescribe the pepto-bismol (3 times a day), tetracycline (4 times a day) and Protonix to me. But I found in the website that Pepto-bismol and tetracycline have a series interaction. Do you think it is safe to take it? Thanks.

I heard about the interactions between the two antibiotics. However, this combination has been widely used.

The combination Pylera consist of bismuth (which is pepto bismol), Metronidazole, tetracycline and PPI. It's approved by FDA. Therefore I believe it's safe to take.
