Im on my 6th day of triple therapy for H pylori. Got gastritis and duodenal ulcer, after 7 months of acid burping and heartburn.
During this treatment Ive had watery yellow diarreah everyday maybe 2-3 times a day. Its not too bad and i can cope with it but i wanted to know if this constitutes some sort of allergy and does this mean the antibiotics won't work as well? The reason i ask is because after 6 days I'm still burping a lot so feel the same(though no acid because of the ppi)

I would suggest you finish the course of antibiotics and wait for a month and do a follow up breath test to check if the treatment is successful. The diarrhea shouldnt affect the treatment. In regards to the burping, it depends on individual. For most people, the burping will gradually go away (within a month). For a minority, the burping continues for unknown reason.
