After 2 weeks of stomach pain and general nausea, I started vomiting, and for the past week I haven't been able to keep and water or food down. 5 days ago I was admitted to hospital and after lots of test my biopsies said I had intern H. Pyolori in my stomach and I've antibiotics have been started but after 2 days I still can't even keep teaspoons of water down. They found my esophagus has poor mobility in places and my swallow test showed problems too, but the doctors are putting it all down to the h. Pylori and feel once the antibiotics work I will be fine? They are saying it's because the infection is so intense? Is this normal? I'm just fed up, not being able to keep anything down.

it actually sounds more like a food poisoning than a H. pylori infection. Nevertheless, the antibiotics will kill off everything. Hopefully your H. pylori will be killed too.

Could you try what I did? Get mastic gum and probiotics. Drink kefir and eat a good yogurt with live cultures, no sugar. Drink mineral water. Cut out gluten, sugar and non-fermented dairy. Eat broccoli and other veggies. Chew mastic chewing gum, sugarless. Some people say coconut oil helps. I used that occasionally in a smoothie made with coconut milk and a banana, i found it hard to eat by the spoonful, but some people like it. I cut out coffee and tea. You could also drink unsweetened cranberry juice, I did not, because it is too hard to find locally.

Did this regiment eliminate your H. Pylori?

there is no evidence that this regime actually eradicate H. pylori. However, I wont stop people using it if it does "improve" someone's digestive system.
I highlight "improve" because it can be psychologically.
Probiotic is a very general term. Common probiotic cannot kill off H. pylori. Some probiotics have true antibacterial effect and they are usually quite expensive. Then again, there is no evidence that such probiotics kill of H. pylori in vivo.
probiotics may improve digestive system, that is different from eradicating H. pylori.

Neuroglia, I apologize for not responding. I was in too much agony from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and could not walk or think rationally (Ironically, I am taking something called low dose naltrexone, which is helping me. The mechanism involves the neuroglia

' )
I don't know if the regimen destroyed h pylori, because my doctor told me that if my stool test was negative after using mastic gum I probably did not have it in the first place.
I was scheduled for an endo and colonoscopy in May, which I cancelled. I have had few stomach complaints since, but I am concerned because my stool is yellow. It is only a normal color when I take milk thistle. Now that I am mobile again I am going to re-schedule endo and colonoscopy.
