I already know that I can't take antibiotics at least a month before the test and then any PPIs at least 2 weeks before the test, but what about Gas-X tablets that are available in the states. Should I not take these as well or are these okay to take.

I did a quick search on the mode of action of Gas X. It seems like it only removes bubbles. So theoretically it shouldnt affect the breath test.
PPI will reduce the acid and so H. pylori will shut down the enzyme urease and therefore urea breath test will fail.
antibiotics will reduce the bacteria load and so you'll get a low level or inconclusive urea breath test result.
that's why you have to stop PPI and antibiotics for a period of time for any left over h. pylori to grow up. If no H. pylori army is building up after 4 weeks, you will be considered cured.
Nevertheless, I found this information on stool test. It says that Gas X will no affect on stool test.
