I HAVE A 49 YR OLD CHINESE LADY WHO HAS BEEN IN OZ FOR 7 YEARS. SHE GETS A RASH WITH AMOXYCILLIN. SHE RECEIVED ERADICATION THERAPY WITH AN UNSPECIFIED REGIME IN 2012 IN SYDNEY. SHE MOVE3D TO QLD AND RECEIVED OMEPRAZOLE, CALITRHOMYCIN AND METRONIDAZOLE BUT TO NO AVAIL. I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU MIGHT KINDLY ADVISE

Do you know if your friend has been confirmed with breath test that she is still infected with H. pylori? alternatively, H. pylori can also be proven by histology via endoscopy.

We have quite a high cure rate (95%) for PBRC treatment. PBRC stands for PPI + bismuth (or denol) + rifabutin + ciprofloxacin.

This treatment is usually given to patients who are allergic to penicillin. Discuss with your doctor about the possibility of getting these drugs and the side effect management.
