My cousin has been having symptoms of gastritis, and having come off a treatment of H pylori, myself, I suggested she get tested. Today she tells me she is negative and when I asked her how they got results so quickly (doctor's visit yesterday), this is her description of the test:
The test was a finger stick to a strip that takes about 5 minutes to migrate down the strip and then it has a blue and red streak on it if positve.

Would the expert comment on this please? I wonder if it is accurate enough? I didn't even know that test existed.

the test is relatively accurate. if the doctor is experienced and know what he is doing, i would trust the result.
