Two years ago I went to my dr stating my stomach problems, such as a ball of pain in my stomach, uncontrollable vomiting, constant diarrhea, pain in abdominal area, and back pain. He conducted blood tests and a scope. I had zero vitamin B12, and very low vitamin D. Scope results showed minimal ulcer. Told me to take Prevacid and that I had GERD. Over the next year my symptoms got worse and worse and would results in "bouts" of vomiting and stomach pain so back it would land me in the ER every six to eight weeks, like clock work. I eventually was frustrated cause my dr would just tell me, " you're fine." I seeked answers from a natural path dr who tested me for h pylori which was positive. This was a year ago. She could not prescribe antibiotics, told me to tell my dr to get treatment started. As I to him he stated, " you're fine, people have h pylori everyday and it doesn't bother them." Finally last month so tired of feeling so bad, went to a different dr who again tested me and I still have h pylori. She prescribed me the antibiotic treatment and I have been on it for 8 days now. Still violent vomiting and pain so unbearable I was in the ER again. Does it ever get better? My white blood count is elevated, I have very low vitamin B12 and D, and can't hardly breathe my stomach hurts so bad. I am constantly nauseous and am anxious to just feel better.
Anyone out there like this? I am so angry at my first dr, I keep thinking about how maybe I wouldn't be so bad if he would have tried to resolve this over a year ago! Why didn't he listen to how I was feeling? Now reading about this and hoping it doesn't progress further. Getting another scope soon.
